Another great place to stroll on an evening and take in the views is by Captain Cook’s Monument. I have been three times now so thought I’d share its beauty. The monument stands 324 metres above sea level, 18m high, over looking Great Ayton and is easily accessible from Guisborough forest (Read about HERE) and Roseberry Topping (Read about HERE).
17:30 rolled around, the sun still shining bright, and I’d not done much apart from lounge around in my pj’s. I needed to get out.
Following our walk up Roseberry Topping the previous day (see blog post here) I fancied another walk, just with less chance of injury. My goal at the moment is to explore all the places local that often I’d of just ignored.
(For the 6 months I have resided in Ingleby Barwick I’ve gone as far as Cineworld, Uni and Dominos- oops, my bad)
