Whitby is a great day out; places to go, things to see and chips to indulge with! My visit was a two parter as the first time I had two VERY trying children in tow and I was done after a couple of hours. #callmeweak
Outing one began when the smallest human, along with my cat, crawled into my bed at 7:20am, it was time to wake up.
17:30 rolled around, the sun still shining bright, and I’d not done much apart from lounge around in my pj’s. I needed to get out.
Following our walk up Roseberry Topping the previous day (see blog post here) I fancied another walk, just with less chance of injury. My goal at the moment is to explore all the places local that often I’d of just ignored.
(For the 6 months I have resided in Ingleby Barwick I’ve gone as far as Cineworld, Uni and Dominos- oops, my bad)
York’s a lovely little place rich with history and culture, as well as attractions and various eateries. With lots on offer it’s a great day or weekend trip.
We arrived later than planned. You know how it is, slept in a little ’cause i was up all hours doing uni work, throw a child in the mix and then waiting an hour to get parked and things are delayed. Ah well, what can you do? So 3pm rolls around and we finally get out into York centre.
