Captain Cook’s Monument

Another great place to stroll on an evening and take in the views is by Captain Cook’s Monument. I have been three times now so thought I’d share its beauty. The monument stands 324 metres above sea level, 18m high, over looking Great Ayton and is easily accessible from Guisborough forest (Read about HERE) and Roseberry Topping (Read about HERE).

One Love Manchester

One Love Manchester

On the 4th of June 2017 I had the pleasure of attending Ariana Grande’s One Love concert in Manchester at Old Trafford. The concert was the result of the devastating attack which took place at the M.E.N arena just 2 weeks prior.

A true credit to herself, Ariana did not let fear prevent her from showing immense love and compassion to Manchester and its victims. Raising hundreds of thousands for the cause and speaking with injured fans. It seems Ariana’s strength is something to admire, after all she is only 23 herself. Along with her celebrity friends, Ariana took to the stage and united the crowd through music. Dressed simply in jeans and a white One Love Manchester oversized jumper, she reminded us of her fierceness completing her outfit with black heeled boots.  Continue reading
